Job brief
We are looking for a reliable Logistics Specialist to be responsible for the overall supply chain management. Logistics Specialist responsibilities include organizing and monitoring storage and distribution of goods, for complicated high-end luxury customs goods from abroad for delivery and installation in the US, the Caribbean and Latin America.
The goal is to manage the entire order cycle so as to enhance business development and ensure sustainability and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
· Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services
· Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle with vendors, freight forwarders, shippers, warehouse and customers
· Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers and customers
· Generate purchase orders, confirm consistency between sales order/POs/factory checklists
· Maintain payment schedule and log to timely advise management to maintain healthy vendor relationships
· Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
· Check all shipments received into our warehouse for accuracy
· Manage detailed warehouse inventory-keep updated inventory log
· Arrange warehouse, catalog goods, plan routes and process shipments
· Liaise with warehouse coordinator to schedule white glove deliveries and installations
· Resolve any arising problems or complaints
· Coordinate claims with salesperson, accounting and vendors
· Supervise, coach and train warehouse workforce
· Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets
· Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements
· Comply with laws, regulations and ISO requirements
Requirements
· Proven working experience as a Logistics Specialist
· Record of successful distribution and logistics management
· Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff
· Proficient in standard logistics software, Quick Books, Excel, and others
· Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
· Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
· BS in Business Administration, Logistics or Supply Chain
· Multi-lingual English/Spanish or other
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $36,612.00 – $61,647.00 per year
