We are seeking a Manager, Global Human Resources, to be a member of the senior team and day-to-day contributor responsible for strategy, execution, and support of all things people. In this role, you’ll bring strategic thought leadership and new ideas, paired with a hands-on approach and energy around a core belief that our people pair with our technologies are the backbone of what we do.
The Job:
Be a thought Leader Across the Employee Lifecycle
− Be a thought leader regarding organizational, cultural, and people-related initiatives and programs by maintaining business acumen and knowledge of HR and Industry trends.
− Routinely review and recommend improvements to HR related policies, processes, and practices and people-related matters to support the achievement of business objectives and to build a team culture and employee engagement
− Develop and ensure the execution of a robust people plan and systems for long-term success and in line with our company growth initiatives.
− Help us find, build and retain talent across North American and global field operations.
− Proactively communicate at all levels to support organizational change
Day-to-Day Implementer of People Strategy, HR Operations & Total Rewards
− Responsible for full-cycle recruitment and employment branding initiatives.
− Build relationships and lead any college recruiting, internships, post-military programs, and networking to attract talent.
− Manage the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, retention, and offboarding
− Work with leaders and individuals on a variety of topics, ways, and means education can be accomplished and delivered.
− Work with senior leaders and peers on the design and development of company-wide performance management programs, feedback, promotion, and compensation cycles.
− Lead the development of people-related reporting and analytics to support effective decision-making and business needs.
− Utilize a data-driven approach to identify trends and recommend proactive solutions for employee recruiting, hiring, performance, retention, and engagement.
− Responsible for all benefit-related health & wellness, time-off programs, and managing relationships with associated third-party partners.
− Ensure timely and accurate submittal and maintenance of employee recordkeeping.
− Manage our 3rd party relationships across the globe as it relates to people-related services and tools.
− Provide oversight to HR/Payroll Admin in the processing of payroll, benefits admin, 401K, expense reports, drug testing programs, and general administrative needs.
− Establish and ensure Company’s competitive total rewards programs to attract, retain, and motivate employees while aligning with organizational goals and budgets.
− Build and evolve Company’s people-related processes and tools with scalability in mind.
− Ensure Company’s people-related programs and policies remain current on employment law compliance requirements and trends across all countries in which we operate.
− Oversee facilities management, including day-to-day office space operations and systems, safety, and security.
Qualifications Needed for Success:
− At least eight (8) years of progressive HR experience in start-up/scale-up organizations; at least two of those years in a mid to senior-level role.
− Experience supporting North America and or Global HR is important.
− Experience supporting onsite as well as field-based employees.
− Experience with payroll processing, benefits administration, and HRIS systems.
− A knowledge of people-strategy trends and awareness of which are truly effective; practice sound judgment in assessing which are worth adopting and which to ignore.
− Excellent project management skills with a proven ability to design and implement people operation strategies that deliver meaningful results.
− A natural coaching and mentoring style, listening effectively, and building rapport across the workforce.
− Strong written, presentation, and verbal communication skills that are naturally fluid based on the audience and setting.
− A can-do, make-it-happen attitude with an ability to establish and maintain positive relationships that foster results.
− Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Supervision or HR is preferred.
− HR Certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR); is a plus.
