Confidential Hiring for Medical Director Job at Houston, TX Full Time

Our well-known Med Spa is looking for a quality Medical Director for our San Antonio location. This requires about a 1 hour time commitment per month. Any specialty is acceptable; experience with non-invasive aesthetic procedures required.

Procedures we offer include:

• Neurotoxin
• Dermal Fillers
• PRP/PRF
• IV fluid infusions
• PDO threading
• Laser Services
• Plasma Pen
• Microneedling
• Dermaplanes
• Body enhancements (i.e. coolsculpting, miradry, velashape)

Responsibilities:

• Physician must provider delegation and prescriptive authority under the state specific medical board as needed to the location midlevel provider.
• Physician must be available for off-site or virtual consulations as needed with midlevel provider
• 20 charts per month reviewed and signed with location midlevel provider
• Physician to approve written protocols for each procedure performed at the practice location
• Physician is responsible for reviewing, approving, and signing standing delegation orders to appropriate providers.
• Physician must approve written protocols for each procedure performed at the medspa locations.
• Account set up with credentials required (i.e. Pharmacy, Mckesson, Candela)
• Physician must both have a current, active license to practice and be engaged in the active practice of medicine in the state in which he or she will serve as medical director.
• Physician must have a clear disciplinary history record with the Medical Board in the state of licensure.
• Physician must have direct, hands-on experience in all procedures performed at the medspa in order to delegate authority to perform said procedures to medspa personnel.
• Physician must also be available to conduct in-person appointments with patients in emergency circumstances.
• Physician must ensure that a quality assurance program is in place at each medspa location for which he/she serves as Medical Director related to patient care and patient record management.
• With the assistance of the location, Midlevel provider and Physician must ensure that each clinical staff member is competent and appropriately trained in each procedure that will be delegated to that clinical staff member.
