As a Senior Automotive Technician, you have the opportunity for growth and certification! You also choose if you want to work a four or five day work week. We care about your success and will work with you to achieve your goals! Pay is highly competitive and dependent on your experience and abilities. You also receive company-paid training to maintain your certification.
Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies and procedures:
- Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment and vehicle repair information systems.
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, diesels, etc.
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are well-informed of any additional services needed.
- Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
- Ability to work with all levels of technicians.
Qualifications
- Previous automotive technician experience.
- ASE Master certification (or previously demonstrated ability and experience).
- Broad knowledge of vehicle technologies.
- Ambitious, hardworking presence in a team-based environment
- Basic computer skills.
- Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality.
- Enjoy working in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to collaborate effectively.
- Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications.
- Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
