Congregational Home is looking for a full-time Certified Medication Aide (CMA)! In this position, you will dispense medication to residents under the supervision of an RN and assist staff members as needed. We are also offering a $2500 sign on bonus!
Responsibilities:
- dispense medications and ensuring patients take their medication
- track all prescription and non-prescription drug that are administered to residents
- keeping records of dosage times and amounts
- follow all company standards and regulations to ensure the safety of patients and staff
Qualifications:
- Current Medication Aide Certification
- Must be CPR certified
- previous experience in a long-term care facility preferred, but not required
- must be able to express self in written and oral communication and communicate effectively in care setting with residents, families and staff members
- keen to attention to detail
- ability to maintain confidentiality
- ability to work independently or with a team
