Reporting to the Human Resource Manager of Employee Operations, the Human Resources (HR) Coordinator will be the face of the organization for all new employees through coordinating and conducting new hire orientation. The role will acclimate new employees to Connexus Credit Union while providing a positive and professional employee experience. This role will ensure our new employees have the tools and resources to be successful in their role through 30, 60, 90 day retention conversations. The HR Coordinator will audit data within Workday (HRIS) to ensure employee data is accurate. The HR Coordinator will be an integral part of a successful and professional Human Resources Department.
Responsibilities of the Position:
Partner with HR management team to communicate and administer various human resource policies, procedures, laws, standards and government regulations for all employees.
Collaborate with HR management to create, maintain and administer new employee onboarding orientation.
Manage all employee electronic files.
Administer Organizational and Development goals to all new employees. Complete goal audits for all employees on a regular cadence.
Track, complete and follow up on the Employee Retention Conversations specifically completing the 60 day Employee Retention Conversations with new employees.
Leads the off-boarding efforts by processing all voluntary and involuntary terminations and notifying the appropriate departments.
Manage HR audits for employee information utilizing Workday to ensure compliance within all areas of human resources.
Answer questions/emails from employees on policy or procedure.
Assist HR Management team by recommending new strategies and approaches to support the success of the organization and completing special projects as requested.
Provide administrative and operational support to human resources management team.
Provide support to the recruitment team as necessary.
Position Minimum Requirements:
This position is eligible to be remote. Connexus requires that candidates must reside in one of the following states to be considered for this opportunity: AL, FL, GA, IL, IN, IA, KY, MI, MN, MO, OH, SC, TX, WI.
Candidates need to have capability to work from a location which meets the Connexus Credit Union remote policy which includes private workspace and reliable internet, etc.
Associate’s degree required in a related field (i.e. HR Management, Organizational Psychology, etc.) or commensurate experience is required.
1+ year of prior experience working in Human Resources is required.
Requires proficient skills to use Microsoft Suite applications, including Excel and Word.
Previous experience working within an HRIS system is required.
Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality.
Previous work experience demonstrating accuracy and attention to detail.
