Reporting into: Head of People+Culture
Compensation Range: $70k – $90k based on experience
Contently is looking for a detail-oriented and energetic People Operations Specialist to assist in sourcing, recruiting, admin operations, assist with talent related responsibilities, and collaborate closely across all departments.
What You’ll Do
Lead the sourcing, recruitment and onboarding talent experience process
Manage professional reference checks, background checks, and issuing employment contracts
Ensure all new hire paperwork is completed accordingly
Support internal and external HR related inquiries or requests
Maintain digital records of employees
Plan and execute onsite and remote culture and company events alongside the Head of People+Culture
Assist with performance management procedures
Complete termination paperwork and exit interviews
Keep up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practices
Contribute to the growth and success of a fabulous startup-y tech organization through the art of storytelling
Who You Are
3-5 years of general Human Resource experience

Experience supporting 50+ employees
Attentive, disciplined, ability to work independently and prioritize tasks

Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills
Enthusiasm for handling diverse tasks of varying complexity, and able to maintain a positive attitude towards routine tasks
