Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing and posting month-end close entries
• Assist in month-end analysis and preparing correcting entries
• Perform monthly account reconciliations of assigned balance sheet accounts which includes identifying reconciling amounts and determining the corrective action for them.
• General ledger account analysis. – understanding the purpose of the account and what type of transactions flow through it.
• Assist with audits in gathering supporting documentation for journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Ad hoc analyses and other duties as assigned.
• Strive to continuously improve and automate the accounting and reporting process and instill proper financial controls, wherever possible.
• Create process documentation and build schedules to support journal entries and analysis.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
• 1-3 years’ experience in an accounting environment.

• Good understanding of US GAAP.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with Netsuite or Oracle accounting software a plus.
• Detail oriented with excellent analytical skills.
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
• Ability to organize and prioritize assigned duties.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Prior pharmacy or healthcare experience a plus.
