The Country Club of New Bedford is seeking an inspired Director of Food & Beverage, focused on creating and enhancing a “club experience” with contemporary concepts usually found only in the trendiest and most popular commercial establishments. Service is the bedrock of success and we want an outgoing, engaging, passionate and creative person who will be the heart of our operation and eager to stay current with the new trends in F&B.
You will deliver a high-quality menu instill a “culture of service” with consistent leadership and staff motivation to maintain and motivate our staff to provide an excellent customer experience.

This position is responsible for supervising all day-to-day food and beverage operations and front and back of house staff. The position is responsible for driving revenue, managing costs, managing staff to deliver an exceptional dining experience and creating a high performance, team-oriented service culture.

The successful candidate will have; a minimum of five years of experience in a full service, high energy casual restaurant; a passion for hospitality and all that it entails; a hands-on management style that cultivates a culture of consistent excellence and builds team morale; and creative ideas to drive sales and repeat business. An excitement about interacting daily with members and driving a high service environment in the bar and dining areas is critical.

This position requires someone with strong skill sets in communication, planning and delegation, follow through, financial management/analysis, and problem anticipation and resolution. Knowledge of Club Profit Software Program preferred.
