Position Summary:

The General Manager is responsible for oversight and accountability of office, production, and sales personnel to ensure targeted Key Performance Indicators (KPI) are met. This position must be able to attract talent and successfully manage up to the Mr. Roof/ABLE (MABLE) Leadership Team. The General Manager has P&L responsibility and will possess proven experience in leading others. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding, and customer-centric environment.

• Execution of key strategic initiatives to ensure the branch meets/exceeds budgeted revenue, margin and EBITDA goals
• Recruit, develop and retain high-functioning personnel focused on meeting the customer’s needs

• Manage to and deliver the branch’s KPI goals
• Actively maintain subcontractor labor pool and relationships to ensure labor resources can keep up with our demand
• Meet with residential customers to ensure project going as planned to their satisfaction. Explore future business opportunities. Resolve issues with customers and/or crews as needed
• Participates in budgeting process through development and management of budget at business unit level

Qualifications, Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Construction Management, related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Proven success in operational leadership of a business unit
• Skilled trades (materials and/or construction) knowledge, a plus
• Ability to attract and motivate subcontractors to produce quality jobs within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects
• Proficient in understanding/interpreting the company’s financials and proven experience in the budgeting process
• Tech savvy and proficient with today’s most popular software and social media applications
• Precise and articulate communicator; ability to speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations and demonstrate individual and group presentation skills
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to effectively identify and respond to shifting priorities
• Problem analysis and conflict resolution at both a strategic and functional level
