Creal & Creal is looking for an experienced financial and tax accountant to join its team! We are located in Torrance, California. We are looking for a self-starter who has great people and writing skills and is looking to move forward with a progressive firm.

You must be fully conversant with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, OneNote) and be willing to learn how to work in a fully digital environment.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Extensive client communications via email, phone, & video conference (occasional in-person appointment as necessary)
• Preparation of tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships and trusts
• Accounting services for the same, in QuickBooks, Excel, Accounting CS, etc.
• Preparation of review-level workpapers with corresponding checklists and reports
• Preparation of correspondence with IRS/FTB and other government agencies
• Research for updates to tax law and GAAP
• Maintenance of quality control documentation
• Prepare projections, both for accounting and tax purposes

Requirements/Suggestions:

-3+ years experience in public accounting required

-Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or similar required

-CPA license preferred

-Experience with UltraTax CS, Practice CS, and Planner CS preferred

This is a full-time position with starting pay of $35-45/hour depending on experience level and skillset.
