The Commercial team at CRED is looking for a gifted Client Manager to help us deliver as much value as possible for our customers and scale our product.
A successful candidate will have deep client management experience, talent and passion, a great understanding of the commercial sports space, relentless drive and a positive, can-do attitude. Most of all, you should be up for the challenge of a demanding, rewarding environment trying to make an impact on the industry.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of commercial clients, including football clubs and other sports organisation
- Develop and implement strategies to meet clients’ needs and goals
- Collect and synthesise customer feedback for product input
- Manage customer expectations
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments to provide valuable insights to clients
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including media outlets, sponsors, and governing bodies
- Collaborate with colleagues to provide comprehensive support to clients
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as sports management, marketing, or business
- 5+ years of experience in client management, preferably in the sports industry
- Strong understanding of the football industry and current trends and developments
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Top-notch interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in a tech environment and an ability to grasp and speak convincingly about technical concepts
- Comfort working both independently and with team members across departments in a fast-changing start-up environment
- A focused, ego-free approach to making things happen and driving the company forward
Bonus Points
- Experience in the sports marketing and/or influencer marketing space
- Programming, data analysis or product development experience
- Full working proficiency in one or more additional major European languages
