Logistics/Transportation Specialist

Assists with the management of all aspects of Fuel Logistics & Distribution for CrossAmerica Partners LP in an operating area that spans multiple states.

Responsibilites:

• Monitoring of carrier competitiveness and performance.
• Integration of company acquisitions into our supply and distribution network.
• Support for wholesale field personnel on transportation issues: low inventory, run outs, overfills, inventory irregularities, driver issues etc.
• Support for the accounting team on transportation related issues: carrier invoicing errors, tank pump outs, fuel delivery cross drops, delivery discrepancies.
• Facilitation of resolution of carrier efficiency issues – site maintenance issues, site inventory level irregularities, disseminating unbranded pricing information to the carrier network.
• Management of allocations for branded and unbranded supply.
• Optimization of site terminal allocation (primary and secondary) and the recovery of diversion costs.
• Management of company’s fuel deliveries by the independent carriers.
• Review of site inventories to insure carriers are managing inventory levels properly.
• Share responsibility for 24 hour 7 day a week support for wholesale field personnel and carrier network for any transportation issues that may arise (e.g., station outages, supply issues, etc.)

Skills& Knowledge:

The ability to learn/comprehend, manage all aspects of the company transportation, and to exercise significant and sound independent thought and judgment in the exercise of job related duties.

Possess strong communication and administration skills.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2-4 years of combined transportation, distribution, or related experience.
