Job Description:
The Talent Mergers & Acquisitions Associate Director will lead the HR due diligence process for Talent Solutions and people integration for acquisitions. Support and work with the Corporate Development Team on developing and executing an HR and Talent due diligence and integration strategy for all Crowe acquisitions.
Responsibilities
Support M&A due diligence focusing on data integrity and analysis through the entire lifecycle of a deal, from pre-diligence through to close.
Review diligence documents, track against request list, report discrepancies
Development of HR due diligence reports and make recommendations based on findings.
Manage sensitive employee demographic and compensation data through all phases of acquisition, focusing on data integrity, analysis, and reporting.
Supports employee mapping process through detailed analysis of organizational structure, roles, and responsibilities.
Conducts detailed compensation analysis, and work with Total Rewards team and business leaders to develop the approach to compensation for each acquisition.
Analyze employee handbooks and detailed benefit plans, providing gap analysis reports and recommendations.
Create project risk and issue logs, advising on mitigation measures.
Organizes project meetings across the Talent workstream, maintaining deal-specific project plans, working collaboratively across workstreams.
Collaborates cross-functionally to share process improvements and best practices.
Sets up and maintains project file management including version control as appropriate
Assists with planning and support of Meet and Greet and customized onboarding training sessions
Development and maintenance of Talent Solutions acquisition methodologies and tools, M&A playbook and actively shares knowledge with across service lines
Draft template for offer letters, both domestically and globally along with any new hire packet information. Review with internal and external resources.
Manage the background check process for all incoming new hires and monitor to completion
Oversee the I-9 process to ensure compliance
Create individual offer packets, including offer letters and track acceptance
Required
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field, or equivalent
10 years HR experience or related field
5+ years M&A experience
Experience analyzing HR policies, benefits, 401(k) plans, compensation, or related data
Knowledge of key HR principles: recruiting, change management, compensation, benefits etc.
Analytical skills and an advanced proficiency in MS Excel (including v-lookups & pivot tables)
Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple long-term projects simultaneously
Excellent attention to detail, organizational and interpersonal skills
Ability to manages changes in workload, tight deadlines, and rapidly shifting priorities.
Ability to absorb and process large quantities of disparate information and synthesize quickly
Ability to work across workstreams in a large, matrixed organization
Accepts and manages ambiguity/complexity and supports others in dealing effectively with change
Experience identifying and resolving complex issues, assuming leadership roles in unfamiliar or ambiguous circumstances – solid sense of accountability and sound personal judgment
Excellent written and verbal communications – ability to interface with all levels of the organization

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Crowe, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $128,150 to $217,850.
