SUMMARY: Responsible for driving a designated route to load and/or unload freight safely and timely.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
SIGN-ON-BONUS: New Drivers will receive a sign-on bonus of $2,000 (two thousand dollars).
EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent or experience in lieu of education.

COMPETENCIES: Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Ability to demonstrate effective customer services skills. Ability to function effectively with, or as part of a team. Knowledge of and ability to identify safety hazards and necessary safety precautions to establish a safe work environment. Knowledge of and the ability to safely operate and/or maintain machinery, tools and equipment.
OTHER: Must possess an A/CDL with the following endorsements: (a) X – Tank/Hazardous Materials, (b) Doubles or Triples, and meet the current driver qualifications as defined in the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations. Also require a current medical certificate.
JOB SCOPE: Position impacts a single business unit/segment.
WORKING CONDITIONS: Works both inside an office environment and also outside in conditions of both high and low temperatures. May be exposed to odors, dust, dirt, mechanical hazards, high noise levels and potentially dangerous equipment. Must be able to crouch and stoop to get into areas with restricted headroom and be able to climb ladders. May require extended use of computer keyboard and viewing of computer monitor and ability to sit for long periods of time.
