This position will report to the Controller, but work in A/R, A/P, Fixed Assets, Reporting and General Ledger areas. Additional functions will include balancing accounts, reconciling reports, and providing monthly reporting to management.

What we are looking for:

Accountant

Location: Norcross, GA

Staff Accountant Responsibilities:

• Monthly / Daily Cash reconciliations
• Prepare and record various journal entries
• Work in AP, AR and the general ledger accounting functions
• Provide detailed reconciliations of general ledger accounts
• Work closely with the Controller on various tasks
• Month-end close and daily posting of journal entries and bank reconciliations
• Performs other duties as required that are in support of the department’s goals to meet company deadlines and objectives

Staff Accountant Qualifications:

• Minimum third year accounting curriculum or equivalent experience (degree not required)
• Ability to maintain confidential information
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to perform well in time sensitive situations and meet deadlines
• Proven track record of taking initiative, working well with a team, and problem solving
• Adept technology skills
