Role Overview
The Human Resources Manager develops and implements HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy. Primary responsibilities include managing the employee relations, recruitment, benefits administration, training, and development processes. This position will report to the President.
Job Duties:

– Plan, monitor, and appraise HR activities by scheduling management meetings with employees, hearing and resolving employee grievances, training managers to coach, and discipline employees, and counseling employees, and supervisors
– Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable HR federal and state requirements, conducting investigations, and maintain records
– Manage talent acquisition process, and prepare employees for their roles by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs
– Maintain and enhance employee benefits program, including compensation, health insurance, vacation and other personnel packages
– Create learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees
– Oversee, refine, and execute employee standards and procedures, using and improving HR existing and recommended systems and processes
– Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law
– Additional duties as needed to help drive our vision, fulfill our mission, and abide by our organization’s values

What you’ll need
– Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
– Three years of human resources experience as a specialist or generalist
– Exceptional communications skills, writing skills, interpersonal skills, and ethical mindset
– Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Preferred Qualifications:
– Two years of human resources management experience
– Two years of food and beverage manufacturing experience
