Payroll and Human Resources Specialist

This position is responsible for the weekly, in-house processing of payroll for a small construction firm located in the Frederick County area using Timberline software. This is a hands on position and applicant should be familiar with Timberline Software and payroll procedures. The position requires action and knowledge for Human Resources related items such as: Davis – Bacon reporting compliance; 401k and COBRA administration; principal coordinator for employee health, vision, dental renewal and liaison with outside benefit coordinator. The position is also responsible for general HR duties: worker’s compensation cases; advertising and recruiting; state specific apprenticeship programs, and regularly recurring Human Resources tasks.

Employee must be able to work in fast paced environment, comfortable and quiet with confidential information and be a dependable part of an accounting department and team. Please submit resume with current salary and salary requirements for consideration.
