Position Summary
The Divisional Merchandise Manager (DMM) is responsible for fully managing assigned portfolios, the respective P&L’s and a team of highly motivated colleagues in the development of our new customer demographic based store format.
The DMM has full responsibility for setting the strategic direction for their portfolios, attaining budgeted sales, budgeted margin, market share growth, and developing high performing teams. Overall, the DMM is responsible for achieving the Merchandising objectives as they relate to the CVS Strategic plan. In addition to strong business acumen and P&L accountability, a successful DMM will be a skilled strategist, communicator, and bridge-builder to ensure a large cross functional team of collaborators (finance, operations, digital/IT, other merch teams, and broader enterprise stakeholders) are all aligned to drive CVS Health objectives. Exceptional clarity and tone of communication (verbal, written, powerpoint presentations) is essential for success in this role.
Required Qualifications
The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, be a self-starter, and able to be highly productive in a dynamic, collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will have the following experience / knowledge / ability:
• Ability to work Hybrid Model (in office Tuesday / Wednesday / Thursday)
• 10+ years of experience in retail of or consumer packaged goods, (experience in retail merchandising and/or management consulting/private equity a plus).
• 5+ years of experience managing a team (professional retail and/or digital merchandising/category management staff).
• Strong analytic, visual and oral presentation toolkit and ability to quickly assess opportunities in a structured way.
• Working knowledge of modern merchandising tools and systems (promotions, assortment, pricing, optimization, etc).
• Proven track record of driving transformational performance in a retail business through the implementation of innovative strategies to drive sales and margin.

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$131,500.00 – $297,250.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
