Telecom Project Manager

What You Will Be Doing
Manage large-scale telecommunication infrastructure projects for new site build
Manage budgets, project timelines, internal staff and external vendors relations, existing contract terms and conditions
Responsible for hitting project milestones, revenue targets, manage cross-functional teams, professional and technical resources, construction managers, directly employed crews, subcontractors through project milestones, project completion, compliance with established processes and policies established by the company, the client, regulatory agencies
Act as primary interface between company and customer, work under minimal direction, reviewed by senior management
Manage all project activities(including but not limited to pre-construction services, coordination with architectural and engineering services, permitting, internal pre-deployment meetings, client deployment meetings, material ordering, etc)
Create and execute work plans, revise as appropriate for changing needs and requirements of project, oversee activities associated with projects
Liaison for clients and management, daily status reports of projects, ensure workflow is achieved, milestones are reached in a timely fashion
Provide management direction, supervision, and leadership, ensure successful completion of project deliverables, contract compliance
Create and maintain strong client / customer relationships, continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction
Interpret Contract Documents, communicate scope of work to project team, develop schedule, budget forecasts, conduct weekly meetings with project staff, review individual site progress; oversee project tracking and documentation
Establish, manage, and control budget and exposure to risk on the project, resolve and/or escalate issues in timely fashion, ensure accurate invoicing, monitor receivables for project
May be “on call” to deal with delays, effects of bad weather, or emergencies on site
Extensive travel to construction site when it isnt close to the main office or when responsible for activities at two or more sites, working outdoors in inclement weather

What You Need for this Position
Bachelor’s Degree (or strong construction/fiber optic background)
Expertise in fiber optic network design and construction process
5-10+ years of construction/fiber optic experience
Project Management experience, OSHA 30
Proficient in Microsoft Suite
Able to work in fast paced environment, balance multiple tasks
Successful completion of pre-employment drug & alcohol, background check requirements
