We are an industry-leading Vertically Integrated Real Estate Development firm with over $50Mil in active construction costs and another $100mil slated to start before the end of 2023. We are looking for a VP of Construction Operations to oversee the construction department and help continue to grow the company. As we continue to expand and grow we are looking for our first executive level role to work underneath ownership and help establish standard construction procedures moving forward. What You Will Be Doing
- Has the ultimate responsibility for all construction related activities within the region
- Ensure that all buildings in the construction area are constructed to contract, specification and permitted drawings
- Create and implement consistent construction policies and procedures for the company
- Direct management of all field operations and construction administration
- Responsible for turning over units to management team and positive residence experience
- Maintain the site specific quality control plan and site specific safety plan for each project
- Maintain client relationships with subcontractors, owners, suppliers, city officials, etc…
- Facilitate the monthly job cost review and project success reporting processes and proactively identify and ensure resolution of project issues
What You Need for this Position
- 10+ Years Experience Leading Multifamily Construction Projects valued at $20Mil+
- 5+ Years experience in a supervisory role (Director of Construction or Operations, VP, President, COO, etc.)
- 5+ Years experience leading multiple multifamily projects at once
- Experience leading all operations for the construction division of a firm running at least $50Mil a year
- A strong track record of effectively leading and fostering an engaged team culture;
Strong Plus:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
- Direct Arizona Building Experience
