DAY-TO-DAY
n
In this dual bookkeeping and human resources position, you are crucial to our company’s operations. You come to the office eager to ensure that all is well with our books and with our personnel. As part of your varied bookkeeping duties, you monitor accounts payable, track accounts receivable, oversee month-end closing, process payroll, manage tax payments, and perform internal audits. Additionally, you support the general ledger, perform monthly variance calculations, analyze depreciation, perform inventory, and maintain the cash management controls. Overall, you spend a good part of your day verifying and reconciling our financial data as well as making sure we comply with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

Your HR duties are also varied and interesting. You are the first point of contact for HR-related questions and concerns. Efficient and organized, you juggle various administrative tasks such as the maintenance of personnel records, onboarding documents, and internal databases. As you do so, your day in the office is never dull. You enjoy your interactions with our great team and take pride in knowing that the company hums smoothly along under your watchful eye. REQUIREMENTS FOR A BOOKKEEPER / HR SPECIALIST
n
n
10+ years of experience in bookkeeping
n
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (preferred)
n
Experience with systems, applications, and products (SAP) software or other comparable enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
n
Experience with Microsoft Suite, particularly Excel
n
Experience with financial statements, reports analyses, accounting principles, and auditing procedures
n
Knowledge about the laws and regulations governing fiscal record keeping
n
