David’s Loft Clinical Programs Hiring for HR Coordinator at Baltimore, MD Full Time

The HR Coordinator is responsible for creating an excellent New Hire and Employee Experience by supporting newly hired employees in completing their new hire paperwork and enrollment in health benefits. The HR Coordinator requires a strong orientation to detail as you are responsible for maintaining all employee files in the HRIS. You are someone who understands how to navigate confidential information and understand how to communicate and advise employees to seek out the proper channels for employee relations. The HR Coordinator will possess a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Human Services, or related field preferred. Two years of experience in a Human Resources office is preferred.

Salary

$20 – $22 per hour

Duties:
Monitors employee background check results in vendor site and drug screenings

Manage the HRIS and maintain all employee files

Maintain active job posts on job boards based on company need

Recruit applicants for open positions based on experience and qualifications

Screen applicants who have applied to open positions in a timely fashion

Perform phone screening and schedule interviews with appropriate department or staff

Complete employee references

Coordinate office tours for new hires

Obtain necessary on-boarding information and documentation from applicants for the hiring process, ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines and laws

Maintain active and inactive employee files

Conduct new hire and annual trainings

Have full understanding of employee handbook, and confidence explaining policies and procedures to staff

Promote a positive work environment and culture

Correspond with IT on staff computer login, and email/phone set-up

Enroll new staff into QuickBooks

Complete monthly audits on personnel files

Manage employee health benefits

Maintain Office supplies/request

Other administrative and human resource tasks as assigned
