DDM Construction is currently looking for a highly motivated Dirt Foreman to join our team.

The foreman must be able to read and interpret drawings, lead and support a dirt crew to complete all operational activities assigned on street and road projects, and create strategies for making schedule and production goals.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership that results in a safe work environment by following all safety policies and procedures.
• Direct crew of 3 to 6 on daily tasks.
• Maintain operation schedule, productions, and budgets.
• Ensure quality work and an organized work environment.
• Complete all required paperwork including; timesheets, quantity reports, and material delivery tracking.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in earthwork street and road related operations.
• Minimum of 3 years of supervising experience.
• Must be able to read and interpret project plans and specification.
• Must be able to plan crews work to maintain schedule and achieve production goals.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $1,500.00 – $1,750.00 per week

Job Duties:

• Consult blueprints, designs, and client instructions to develop construction plans for your team
• Manage construction sites, ensuring that workers adhere to construction plans and safety codes
• Create and enforce employee schedules and construction timelines
• Document all costs and ensure that expenses never exceed the construction budget
