Airport Customer Service is seeking a leader who has demonstrated operational experience, proven compliance management skills, and possesses a high level of accountability for achieving operational results. The successful candidate should be able to lead front-line employees and support a 24/7 operation with a broad scope of responsibility in a complex and constantly changing hub environment.
- Responsible for implementing and managing a centralized program focusing on sick time management/accounting, leave programs, overtime tracking and reporting, centralized scheduling, payroll, hiring and vacation process for the Airport Customer Service above/below wing teams in a hub and surrounding regions
- Responsible for supporting large number of employees and leading a team
- Manages the operation of a centralized location for leaders and employees to obtain information and assistance for payroll, scheduling, hiring, badging, and vacation.
- Responsible for coordinating and managing all new hire training and onboarding activities
- Oversight of station communications and special events i.e. FIT day, Blood Drives, Profit Sharing, Summer Celebrations etc
- Oversee day to day operations with station shift bids and vacation bids
- Responsible for the station payroll processing and accuracy, including swap processing and partnering with leader approved overtime requests
- Provides detailed analysis and reporting as it relates to station lost work time, employee leave status, overtime trends and general staffing levels
- Serves as liaison for staffing initiatives across all ACS work groups and will become a SME on the DPM and related station and organizational policies and practices
- Special projects as assigned
- Oversees ordering/maintenance of adequate inventory for station supplies and the facility maintenance team
- Ensures distinctive customer service is delivered to internal customers
- Promote team building through motivational and directional coaching. Facilitates the implementation and acceptance of change in the workplace
- Provides strategic and tactical support for ACS operating areas by monitoring and following up on attendance issues. Create, analyze and send attendance reports to senior leaders. This position requires workforce scheduling knowledge along with excellent analytical skills
- Serves as the subject matter expert as it relates to FMLA /ADA and HIPPA, working closely with Sedgwick to monitors claims and ensuring Delta policies and employment laws are followed
- Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience is required
- 3 5 years of relevant experience required
- Must possess good leadership skills and demonstrate ability to influence peers and teams to successful conclusions related compliance issues.
- Candidate must possess a high degree of data management and analysis skills
- Must have an excellent working knowledge of all Delta computer systems, including Microsoft office (Word, Excel Access), MPS, Brio and Tesseract. Individual should possess excellent time management skills and should be able to multi-task and prioritize work assignments
- Must possess strong decision-making, analytical reasoning, and organizational skills
- Candidate must be motivated to meet the needs of internal customers while practicing diplomacy when communicating and working with various departments and individuals at all levels in the Company Should set high standards of performance for self and others and must be able to guide others in adhering to these standards
- Ability to make quick, prudent decisions. Ability to identify, evaluate and refine functional programs/procedure
- Should be multi-task orientated
- Flexibility and personal stamina are required in order to sustain long working hours in a constantly changing environment
- Must be able to work with confidential information
- Must be performing satisfactorily in present position

- Where permitted by applicable law, must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine by date of hire to be considered for U.S.-based job, if not currently employed by Delta Air Lines, Inc.
