Provides direction and support for the ACS/Cargo engagement strategy to support Delta employees and leaders; provides feedback to senior leadership on all relevant items and develops strategy support to facilitate strong feedback mechanisms and overall employee/leader engagement
Overall responsibility for employee and leader engagement to include providing leadership support and directional recommendations ACS/Cargo executive leader team, HR partners and Field Support team
Partners with Talent Development, ACS Learning, Leader Effectiveness team and HR to create and support a robust on-going development plan for all new and current leaders with primary focus on coaching, recognition, and inclusive style of leadership
Leads the divisional Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) team and partners with the Corporate DEI team in support of corporate priorities; developing, implementing and supporting initiatives impacting a division of over 30,000 employees and leaders worldwide
Responsible for translating corporate priorities into divisional actions and implementation plans
Partners with Corporate Employee Recognition team to develop and implement divisional recognition programs that foster strong leader and employee relations and respect
Supports the Frontline Involvement Team (FIT) of over 300 worldwide members and brings a passion for listening to our people
Responsible for leading a team (which may include matrixed reporting relationships) in the coordination of divisional strategies to support ACS/Cargo operations teams and enhance employee and leader engagement
Oversees various employee surveys and feedback mechanisms, and collaborates with Delta HR, Labor and Legal departments to ensure all related communications are understood, applicable and relevant to ACS/Cargo audience
Partners with ACS/Cargo executive leadership team and HR on the creation of leadership development programs from frontline and leaders for increased effective succession planning
Makes recommendations for the divisional practice manual (DPM) regularly including work rules for ACS/Cargo that are in alignment with employee feedback and business priorities
Leads through demonstration of Deltas core values as outlined in Rules of the Road and communicates a compelling view of the organizations purpose and value in a way that helps others understand the importance and impact of their contributions
Advocates for others; leads and mentors team members to develop specific behaviors, skills or knowledge needed to ensure strong employee relations while ensuring an effective balance of business and operational priorities

Candidate must have proven people leadership skills and possess a high-level understanding and success in instituting effective and sustainable employee engagement initiatives
Proven ability to influence and drive change at all levels of the organization and across workgroups
Must be highly proficient in written and oral communications and able to produce concise, relevant, strategically-driven documents and presentations for senior leaders
Should demonstrate experience in managing complex processes within cross-functional teams
Ability to function effectively in a high stress environment and execute multiple priorities in a timely manner is critical
Ability to anticipate roadblocks and plan appropriately to mitigate risks
Should have courageous people leadership, ability to motivate, influence and develop a diverse team of employee engagement professionals
