Here’s what a day in the People Generalist’s life may look like:
You’ll be the go-to for all employee questions about HR-related issues (benefits, policy interpretation, HRIS troubleshooting, etc.)
You are the welcome wagon for all new DZers, including entering all employee information into the HRIS, completing the form I-9 and conducting new hire orientations.
You’ll manage all aspects of benefit administration, including reporting, QLEs, new hire enrollments, billing discrepancies, claims, and open enrollment.
You’ll partner with our managers to help them be accountable for tasks like performance reviews, timesheet approvals and other administration.
You are a handbook wizard, constantly assessing multi-state compliance and working with HR leadership to implement best in class policy.
Assist with sensitive employee relations situations.
Administer and analyze employee surveys such as onboarding, offboarding and employee engagement.
Create ad-hoc reports and analyze HR data.
Keep employee files and all HR templates / documents in tip top shape.
Complete verifications of employment and UI claims.
Requirements:
You take initiative, act with tact, and love process improvement. You also have:
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development or similar field preferred.
2-4 years HR experience across multiple disciplines.
Extensive, demonstrated knowledge of HR best practices and regulatory requirements.
You enjoy the little details of HR and thrive in an environment where priorities may change daily.
G-Suite and Paylocity experience preferred.
SHRM-CP or PHR is a plus.
