Tasks and Qualifications:

Core Responsibilities:

The Test Technician will be responsible for in an industrial/ automation environment:

• Testing electronic assemblies before they are installed in upper-level assemblies

• Repairing parts returned from customers

• Powering up Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs)

• Testing vehicles in a simulation of the customer’s system

• Assisting the Engineering team with test track setup

• Ensuring that the end product meets company standards

• Working on multiple projects to support AGVs ship dates

• Willingness to inform Engineering of all issues and force issue resolution

• Other duties as assigned by Dematic

Basic Qualifications:

• Certificate from a trade/technical school or equivalent experience

• 1-3 years of electronics or testing experience

• Working experience with MS Office, Windows OS, IP, and Networking

• Working knowledge of electronics including the ability to read wiring diagrams and schematics

• The ability to work with data collection equipment including oscilloscopes, meters, sensors, and gauges

• Enjoys getting your hands dirty and being involved in building, testing, and du-bugging tools throughout the development cycle

• Takes a logical, analytical approach to problem-solving and pays close attention to detail

• Self-motivated, able to meet strict deadlines, and results-oriented
