Summary
This position is responsible for managing the company’s risk relative to our Contractor Partner’s General Liability, Automobile Liability and Workers’ Compensation Insurance coverage.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Organizes and maintains insurance filing system.
• Organizes and maintains lawsuits filing system.
• Provides support and follow up to insurance companies and lawyers regarding lawsuits.
• Makes and records deposits, s to Chief Financial Officer, and maintains deposit records and files.
• Notifies other members of the Accounting Department when Contract Partner checks cannot be issued.
• Maintains an active assessment, review and makes decisions to either retain or transfer business risks.
• Facilitates annual insurance audits and assists with the accounting audit as needed.
• Works closely with the Company’s outside insurance representatives to ensure proper coverage and protection.
• Provides documentation and requests for information from external customers and insurance companies.
• Tracks all Contract Partner IRS tax information and ensures that updated insurance verifications are on file at all times.
• Supplemental responsibilities include Contract Partner linking procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of two years professional experience in risk management or a related field
• Demonstrated experience in communication and problem-solving
• Knowledge of the insurance industry
• Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to work well both independently and in a team environment
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills including attention to detail and follow-through
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Additional Information
Must pass drug screen and criminal background check.
Must have valid driver’s license with a good driving record
