Pay Range
$74,529 – $113,324 annually
Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience
Bachelor s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Human Resources, public or business administration, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of related work experience.
Experience implementing Internship and Apprenticeship programs is strongly preferred.
Any equivalent combination of certifications, education, or experience that provides the required skills, knowledge, and abilities for the position.
Licenses, Registration, and Certification:
Must be able to possess and maintain a valid Class R Colorado driver s license and have a satisfactory driving record.

Position Summary
Talent Sr. Specialist is responsible for working with all levels of management to advise, recruit, screen, and recommend the placement of staff by using creative sourcing methods (internal and external).
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities over other employees.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Partners with hiring managers to determine staffing needs. Develops and maintains an excellent relationship with the Talent Coordinator and hiring managers to achieve staffing goals in a timely manner.
Manages recruitment process including initial strategy meeting, job posting, screening, coordination of interviews with the hiring manager, offer letter request, background check adjudication, etc.
Communicates important employment information throughout the recruitment and during the delivery of employment offers (i.e., benefits, compensation, non-competition agreements, etc.). Responds courteously to candidate and hiring manager questions.
Creatively sources candidates via LinkedIn, Indeed, social media, etc. Uses traditional and non-traditional resources to identify and inclusively attract quality candidates.
Plans, coordinates, manages and attends career fairs, internship fairs, community networking events, sourcing events, etc.
Screen resumes, interview candidates (by phone or in-person), administer appropriate assessments, reference/background checking, calculate hiring recommendations, and deliver verbal employment offers for position openings.
Keeps accurate recordkeeping of recruitment documents per record retention company policy. Updates recruitments and recruitment tracker regularly using various software i.e. ADP Recruiting Management, Excel, Sharepoint, background screening software, etc.
Lead Denver Water special projects which may include assisting in strategy development and the implementation phase of internship programs, apprenticeship programs, campus recruiting, community outreach, and special sourcing assignments.
Develops, recommends, and implements personnel policies and procedures.
Works collaboratively bringing new ideas and sharing knowledge/best practices with peers.
Perform related work as required.
