Job Description Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Warehouse Attendant. The Warehouse Attendant will be responsible for shipping and receiving, packing, unloading, forklift operation, and pallet jack operation. The Warehouse Attendant will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment and complying with standards and procedures.
Responsibilities For Warehouse Attendant
- Drives company vehicles to transport stored items or to pick up items
- Receives, unloads, moves and loads equipment & materials
- Verifies correct counts of items received and notes discrepancies or damages
- Issues and delivers items to the proper destination and obtains signatures to document delivery/receipt
- Maintains proper storage of inventory merchandise to avoid spills or spoilage
- Maintains work area in a safe and proper manner
- Receives, blends, and picks project orders
Qualifications
- Experience in shipping & receiving, packing, and unloading
- Experience in forklift operation, pallet jack operation, and other warehouse equipment
- Excellent organization and time-management skills
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work on your feet for extended periods of time
- Ability to work in a team environment and follow instructions closely
- Experience in the construction industry is a plus
