DesignThink is a successful, award-winning, full product design and development group located outside of Philadelphia where we design exciting and meaningful new products for users across a variety of industries such as Juvenile Products, Consumer Products, Office Products, Tools, Medical, and Outdoor Sports and Recreation. We have been around over 10 years, and we are growing. DesignThink is a highly innovative and successful product development consultancy. We are a dynamic, high performing team of Usability Specialists, Industrial Designers, and Mechanical / Bio Medical Engineers who help our clients engage with their customers through intuitive design, smart engineering, and compelling visual brand languages so they can succeed in their markets. We are looking to expand our services to reach new clients to increase and scale our market penetration.

The Lead and Demand Generation Specialist at DesignThink is responsible for raising awareness for and promoting our creative innovation, expert capabilities, strategic services, and dynamic culture. Through your personable nature, enthusiasm, and expert storytelling, you will reach and grow new clients in target markets, as well as maintain current customers and prospects to build existing accounts.
Your Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
Create:
• Collaborate with New Business Development (NBD) to determine necessary strategic sales
approaches
• Generate campaign metrics that measure and track ROI target goals through relevant
reporting to communicate results to the team
• Conduct research into key markets to identify and understand opportunities
• Produce compelling content as well as branding and sales assets to promote DesignThink
• Create iterative marketing campaigns for lead acquisition across social media outlets to
increase visibility and drive awareness of DesignThink
• Use historical data to analyze and strengthen current and past overall marketing and
advertising strategies
• Use a CRM system to plan, reach, and log new leads and schedule appropriate follow-up tasks
Manage:
• Manage new sales opportunities through outbound cold calls and emails and inbound lead
follow-up
• Manage the responsibility of content, campaigns, and messaging distribution across all
channels and platforms to reach DesignThink’s target audience and continue to grow and
retain new prospects and current clients
• Manage and drive key business metrics including new leads generated, conversion to quoting,
conversion to project rates
• Monitor and measure sales funnel activities
• Effectively use marketing automation tools to increase the scale of demand generation
programs
• Manage online/offline demand generation tools and campaigns
Report:
• Present reports that measure and forecast progress to DesignThink’s partners
• Recommend and implement lead generation and analytic tools
• Ensure follow-up by passing qualified leads to NBD with calls-to-action: dates, complete
profile information, sources, etc.
• Achieve daily, monthly, and quarterly KPI metrics to achieve goals
Requirements:
• Minimum BA/BS in communications, business, marketing, or similar product development
related field
• Strong familiarity and / or experience with user insights driven product design and
development organizations
• An outstanding successful track record of demand generation and marketing experience (3
years minimum experience)
• Expert in marketing automation, demand generation, and lead nurturing and execution
• Experience managing budgets
• Persuasive communication and storytelling skills
• Proven ability using and tracking leads and analyzing data using business analytics tools
