We are looking for a Board Member Sales & Marketing (f/m/d) with an entrepreneurial mindset for a major transformation project in Nur-Sultan (Astana), Kazakhstan. DB Engineering & Consulting is supporting Kazakhstan Temir Zholy Passenger Transportation (KTZ PT) and JSC Wagonservice to improve its financial bottom line and service quality. You will lead a major transformation project and become a member of an international management team (CEO and core team of 7 top managers).
For this position, we offer a short-term contract until the end of December 2021 with an option to extend.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales & marketing plans based on company goals that will foster sales growth
- Support and direct-developing and implementing measures for improving sales & ticketing processes, ensuring that projected goals for sales & marketing are being met and measures to optimize are initiated in an effective way
- Interface and/ or lead external management support projects to influence outcome in KTZ’s best interest
- Direct and develop consulting concepts to reach company targets and take full responsibility for their implementation
Qualifications:
- University degree (B.Sc., M.Sc.) in Marketing/Economics or any other relevant discipline
- At least 12 years of experience in the railway industry, gained preferably within DB business units
- Fluency in Russian and English
- Solid track of experience in project management with a focus on change management and transformation of railway structure/organization
- Strong leadership skills and entrepreneurial spirit
- Excellent communication skills at the highest political level
- Hands-on mentality and intercultural competency
- Cultural awareness to facilitate working in teams and groups
- Willingness to move to Kazakhstan for a period of 7 months
