DescriptionThe Associate Program Manager for the Executive Development Program will work directly with teammates from the MBA Internship and MBA Executive Development Programs that come to us from some of the nation’s top MBA programs. You will have a high level of collaboration with the Strategy, Learning & Development and Executive Recruiting teams and report directly to the Sr. Manager of Leadership Development. Evaluate, and continually evolve the Executive Development Program & MBA Internship strategy including: Analyzes program/course evaluations to determine training/on-boarding effectiveness; communicates analysis and recommends program/course adjustments as needed to improve business results Partners with Sr. Director of Strategy, HR Business Partners, merchandising, store operations and the learning organization to identify and define training and coaching needs; when necessary, updates program structure for current/future classes Manage the MBA internship program, in close partnership with the MBA Recruiting team, to deliver a best-in-class experience Deliver top-notch programing for members of MBA Cohort (full-time and intern programs): Deliver a high-touch, personalized experience for all program participants Company engagement plan/organize/schedule all program affiliated events including, but not limited to, Executive Meet & Greets, once-a-quarter networking/team-building events (virtual/in-person) Deliver and coordinate a comprehensive on-boarding/orientation to DSG, Pittsburgh and the DSG MBA programs in conjunction with the Director of Strategy & EDP Serve as liaison between Talent Team and Strategy teams to ensure participant success Schedule check-ins program participants around key talent milestones Coordinate both ongoing training and assessments for MBA cohorts Host regular check-ins with MBA Interns and EDPs to monitor engagement/program satisfaction Prepare participants and facilitators (as needed) to reinforce or improve effectiveness of training program Facilitates and co-facilitates instructor led training (ILT) courses associated with the programs or coordinates subject matter experts for content delivery Partner with teammates to deliver a top-notch program: On-Boards new mentors/training managers to the Executive Development programs by giving them the tools and knowledge necessary to be successful Works closely with departments through the enterprise, along with the learning organization, to identify and define training needs, schedule talent assessments; updates programs as process and systems are changed or updated Ensure all talent management practices are executed including: Performance Reviews, Quarterly Check-ins, Weekly Intern Feedback Sessions, etc. Support MBA Recruiter with the MBA recruiting process including: campus logistics, interviewing and on-campus support Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Marketing/Communications Five to seven years of experience in Human Resources for a large Fortune 500 Company or Academic Institution Preferred experience in one of the following areas, learning & development, talent management, organizational effectiveness, MBA recruiting Experience designing, developing, and evaluating training programs Experience managing internship or training programs at the MBA level Managing and prioritizing multiple tasks with commitments to timelines and follow through Proven history of communicating effectively with diverse groups at all levels of an organization Ability to work in a fast paced, ever changing environment focused on employee experience and business results Demonstrated experience providing concierge like experiences for program participants and support team
