Job Summary

The Web Developer reports to the Director of Project Man and is responsible for web design/development, web maintenance, and general support.

Essential Functions

• Meet attendance requirements, 5 days per week from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Lunch or other breaks are optional.

• Remain in a stationary position for up to 8 hours per day

• Keep working space clean, respect your neighbors and contribute positively to the environment

• Answer phones periodically and direct callers to the appropriate department/person

• Self-discipline and thrive in a casual environment

• Use effective verbal and written communication with co-workers and clients

• Learn technical or other materials as demanded by the industry and position

• Handle confidential information

• Operate computer and keyboard as required by the position

• Complete position-related tasks in a timely manner as required by the position

Job Specifications

The Web Developer is responsible for the following products and services offered by our companies:

• Website Design & Development

Website Design & Development

• Setting Up Demo Site. Includes installing a theme and carrying over content for existing sites. For new sites, integration with the SEO team may be required to get the content needed to finalize the demo site.

• Many details including phone numbers, addresses, company name, and lead destination emails must be checked for accuracy. Ensuring leads sent from the site are imported into the CRM should be done every time.

• Launching Site. Once final approval is given, moving the demo site to the live site location and changing the required setting files, copying the database file, will be done. At this point making sure we have installed analytics or Google tag manager is required. Updating website doc to show the site is live so that the other departments can do what is required.

• Compliance. Ensure everything we add to a website is compliant with the manufacturer’s guidelines.

• Client communication. Communicating with clients regarding the previously mentioned aspects of Website Design will be required.

Website Maintenance

• Tickets. Work tickets on a first come first serve basis after taking ticket priority into account.

• Compliance. Ensure everything we add to a website is compliant with the manufacturer’s guidelines.

• Client communication. Communicating with customers will be required to gain access as well as to occasionally gain feedback on how to respond to difficult or questionable reviews posted online.

General Support

This is a broad-reaching responsibility that entails using your work-related skills to support the needs of our customers. Sometimes these responsibilities will fall outside of your area of expertise. All of our employees are expected to “super-serve” our clients.
