We are seeking a full-time Aircraft Performance Analyst Intern at our office in Chanhassen, Minnesota, for summer 2019. In this role, you will be responsible for using your pilot training to analyze aircraft performance data and build an aircraft data library to advance our mobile application and allow pilots to make better flying decisions. Other essential functions include:
Analyze the Pilot Operating Handbook and Aircraft Flight Manual as it pertains to weight and balance, aircraft performance and checklist data
Interpret aircraft performance data from graphs
Data entry into existing system for use by a mobile application
Qualified candidates are pursuing a Bachelors Degree in an Aviation Management, Flight Operations, or aviation related field and possess a Private Pilots License. Other requirements include:
Demonstrated general knowledge of avionics and the aviation industry
Demonstrated strong attention to detail, effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Must be team-oriented, possess a positive attitude and work well with others
Driven problem solver with proven success in solving difficult problems
Must possess a demonstrated ability to grasp new concepts quickly
Demonstrated proficient and effective data entry skills
A cumulative GPA of 3.5 or greater and previous experience using Microsoft Outlook are highly preferred!
