Our client in the beverage industry is hiring a Logistics & Planning Manager!
Position Overview:
In this role, you will oversee order processing, manage relationships with our client’s third-party logistics (3PL) partners, and leverage logistics analytics to optimize their supply chain operations. Your expertise will ensure that our client’s customers receive their orders promptly and efficiently, contributing to an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Order Processing Management:
- Oversee the end-to-end order processing cycle, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in order fulfillment.
- Collaborate with customer service to resolve order-related issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
3PL Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with our 3PL providers, ensuring alignment with company goals and performance standards.
- Monitor and evaluate 3PL performance, addressing any challenges and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Logistics Analytics:
- Analyze logistics data to identify trends, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Utilize analytics to inform inventory management, forecasting, and operational strategies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with marketing, sales, and finance teams to align order management processes with overall business objectives.
- Participate in strategic planning sessions to enhance operational efficiency and scalability.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in order management, logistics, or supply chain roles, preferably within the CPG or e-commerce sectors.
- Strong understanding of order processing systems and 3PL operations.
- Proficiency in data analytics and logistics software/tools.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
