In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative and project support to the Vice President of Creative Development and the Creative Development department. You will also function in support of our show-specific creative teams throughout all stages of the development process. In addition, this role will provide administrative support to the Office of the President/Producer.In this role you will be expected to efficiently manage the constant flow of information and proactively coordinate the demanding workload of the Creative Development team. The Executive Assistant should possess an abiding interest in the industry and good working knowledge of the industry and its key players. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work at a fast pace while juggling multiple tasks in a positive and focused manner, display effective communication and writing skills, and demonstrate discretion, and sound judgment.High value is placed maintaining a respectful and collegial office atmosphere. “As such, the ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and will be expected to show professionalism, thoughtfulness and empathy when interacting with others including high level artists and executives throughout the theater and entertainment industry is a must.**Responsibilities:**+ Provide administrative support to Vice President of Creative Development, Creative Development Department, and creative teams during development processes.+ Provide administrative support to the Office of the President.+ Calendar Management: Facilitate meetings including communicating participants with time, location, attendees, and agenda. Set up conference calls and operate the videoconferencing system when necessary.+ Executive Travel: Coordinate domestic and international travel. Provide executives with complete and accurate itinerary and directions.+ Phone Coverage: Answer phone calls promptly and cordially. When executives are not immediately available, actively solidify a time to return and ensure complete follow-up.+ Expense Reporting: Reconcile corporate card payments promptly and prepare expense reports for Finance Department.+ Departmental Office Management: Coordinate storage/facility needs, ordering supplies, business cards, stationery, etc.+ Coverage/Research/Scouting: Write detailed reports on talent, scripts, books, films, plays/musicals and other creative materials.+ Assist in the coordination of readings/labs/workshops, including the support of auditions, craft services, rehearsal room setup/breakdown, and local errands.+ Serve as an effective liaison between Creative Development Department and other departments, including the Executive Office and all International DTG Offices.+ Take on specific projects as assigned.**Basic Qualifications:**+ Passion for the business of theater+ Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written and communication skills.+ Strong ability to set priorities and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.+ Must have working knowledge of Word, Outlook and Excel.+ Commitment to actively being part of and supporting a diverse and inclusive workplace.+ Attends and participates in equity, diversity & inclusion, anti-harassment, and any other anti-bias training and workshops as required.+ Models and supports the mission and values of The Walt Disney Company and Disney Theatrical Group by demonstrating inclusive behavior and maintaining a safe and professional working environment.+ Please note: this position can include occasional heavy lifting related to the set-up/breakdown of rehearsal spaces; this includes but is not limited to movement and lifting of boxes, music stands, chairs, rehearsal equipment and props.**Preferred Qualifications:**+ 1-2 years’ experience providing administrative support to manager or executive-level positions, or a writer/director/theatre industry professional.+ Work experience in entertainment/theatre industry, specifically in new work development, preferably in a directing, producing or stage management capacity.+ Ability to read music and/or work in Finale a plus.**Additional Information:**Additional Information: DTG is committed to providing the highest quality opportunities for the widest, most diverse group of talented professionals throughout their career trajectory.
