DMF Marketing values collaboration, creativity, initiative, and performance. We are looking for a Creative Director to join our team. The CD is responsible for delivering consistent, creative, and visionary direction for the brand. The CD leads the creation of assets and content tailored to DMF’s core audiences. Creative projects will include web design, video, photography/rendering, enhanced digital content, social media, packaging, marketing campaigns, presentations, and assets, as well as tradeshows and events. This role will provide conceptual direction to elevate the DMF Lighting brand and leads team members in copywriting, branding design, production design, photo/rendering, and generation of marketing materials.
The CD is a crucial member of the marketing team, working with the Marketing Director, Managers, Designers, Engineering, and Sales teams to ensure project objectives are aligned with business objectives and strategic goals.
Responsibilities Include:
• Understand key business objectives and help drive the business forward by proactively contributing strategic and creative ideas
• Plan and oversee the development of company creative assets and advertisements
• Set direction and manage design team and vendor partners from concept through project completion, including website, video, packaging, promotions, emails, brochures, presentations, etc.
• Head brand campaigns, including submitting ideas for projects and overseeing the development of all creative content
• Supervise all work completed by the creative department
• Mentor and encourage creative team members to foster a positive work environment
• Evaluate our go-to-market launch kits and process and recommend areas of improvement and refinement
• Develop and innovate strategic direction on methods to improve the overall user experience and visual presentations of the brand at all customer touchpoints
• Possess visionary strategies, a sophisticated sense of design, and the ability to develop and implement conceptual ideas
• Manage branding guidelines and standards across all marketing efforts
• Partner with Engineering and Sales to develop compelling marketing messaging
Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, creative writing, or another related field
• Minimum ten years of proven experience as a creative leader in a related industry
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and lead a team
• Excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills
• Competence in Adobe CS and Microsoft Office Applications
• Ability to interact positively and effectively with employees at all levels of the organization and outside vendors
• Ability to work well with others as part of a team, excellent verbal communications and interpersonal skills, and critical attention to detail
