DRDA, PLLC Hiring for Tax Production Manager at Houston, TX Full Time

Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

• Provide and manage excellent customer service
• Responsible for managing production workflow
• Direct seasonal tax administration staff as needed
• Identify problems, propose and implement solutions to firm and client related matters
• Maintain and improve workflow procedures as needed
• Train and mentor staff with workflow
• Evaluate production administrative staff as directed by partner or manager
• Manage compliance with firm quality control procedure in workflow administration
• Be a reliable team player
• Support all levels of personnel
• Assist with special projects as needed

Job Responsibilities

• Set up and Assign Projects
• Scan documents
• Assemble tax returns
• Run weekly project reports
• Run monthly extension reports
• Ensure timely filing of tax returns and extensions
• E-file extensions and tax returns
• Set-up and maintain client portals
• Order annual payroll and informational forms
• Develop ways to improve utilization, realization and efficiencies in workflow administration of firm
• Meet utilization and realization standards personally and for managed staff
• Perform special projects on request

Technical Skills

• Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, Practice CS, GoFileRoom, NetClient CS, and e-signature
• Basic knowledge of UltraTax
• Possess basic typing skills
• Have strong organizational skills
• Basic knowledge of tax laws and filing requirements of all forms
• Sound understanding of firm purpose, brand promise and core values
• Sound understanding of business of accounting rather than practice of accounting
• Develop an understanding of all of DRDA services

Qualifications

• 3+ years Tax prep experience
