Operations Manager
Dream Logistics, is one of Amazon’s newest Delivery Service Provider and we are looking to hire an enthusiastic, energetic, team oriented Operations Manager to join our team. This position is responsible for the day to day operations of package delivery services at the Shawnee, Kansas fulfillment center. The Operations Manager will have a strong daily presence at the Fulfillment center, as well as build and maintain strong, positive working relationships with all employees.

This position manages all Delivery Associates and is responsible for the performance management of the employees within that area. This position will also assist with recruitment and retention efforts in assigned areas.

Responsible for ensuring all daily routes are staffed, trucks are operational, and the routes are efficiently operated on a daily basis
Coordinate and schedule maintenance and repairs on equipment at regular intervals to avoid unnecessary breakdowns
Responsible for the training of every new driver to ensure compliance with all company policies and regulations
Responsible for ensuring Driver compliance with daily duties regarding paperwork, Hours of Service compliance, Pre-Trip/Post-Trip inspection
Responsible for managing budget and expenses for a designated terminal/location
Works closely with Fleet Manager and Director to ensure fleet is operating and maintenance is routinely performed on all trucks
Responsible for performance management of all Drivers assigned to location
Physically willing, ready, and able to drive any vehicle in fleet and safely deliver packages to both residential and commercial recipients
Primary Qualifications
Previous experience driving and delivering packages.
Transportation experience in dispatch and/or operations supervision a plus
Working knowledge of Amazon daily service operations and safety requirements preferred
