Operations Manager Opportunity for a Leading Global Chemical Ingredients Distributor

Location: The Greater Cincinnati, OH Area

Operations Manager Job Summary:

An international chemical ingredients corporation is looking for an Operations Manager to join the leadership team and efficiently lead the day-to-day operations in the Cincinnati, Ohio facility.

This individual will be responsible, but not limited to managing the operation plan and regulations involved with the production of chemicals, developing continuous improvement of the different processes, overseeing a team of supervisors, and managing the quality processes of the facility.

Operations Manager Requirements

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 5+ years of experience in operations
• Experience working in a chemical or highly regulated setting required
• Familiar or ability to learn governmental regulations related to the chemical industry (OSHA, EPA, RCRA, DOT, etc.)

The Operations Manager will have the following skill set:

• Previous leadership and supervisory experience, demonstrating their ability to manage, support and motivate employees to achieve operational targets of the facility
• Ability to manage and prioritize a diverse workload
• Ability to promote continuous improvement within the facility
• Experience creating and managing key performance metrics and overall objectives
• Ability to control warehouse equipment and respond to any emergency situations that may arise
• SAP experience preferred
