SUMMARY: Conduct detailed analysis of internal and third party supplied sales and marketing research data to assist management with refinement of sales and marketing strategies. Maintain internal sales information databases. Prepare persuasive fact based materials for the company’s products.

MAJOR DUTIES:

• Maintain internal sales information/promotion management databases and prepare reports on company sales performance for management.
• Analyze/interpret internal, third party syndicated or customer provided sales data for company products, and prepare reports for use by sales and marketing management.
• Assist marketing with preparation of seasonal sales presentation materials.
• Assist sales management with preparation of customer specific sales presentations.
• Monitor/interpret long-term weather forecasts and disseminate reports to management regarding potential impact of weather on company operations and sales.
• Prepare and distribute electronic news alerts to sales management and brokers regarding key sales, marketing, or weather issues.
• Develop and implement matrices to evaluate effectiveness of trade marketing programs.
• Develop and maintain sales procedures and forms.
• Assist sales and marketing departments with other projects as required
• Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION:

• BA/BS degree in Business, Economics, Business Statistics, Marketing, or related field.

EXPERIENCE:

• 3-5 years experience in consumer product sales/marketing analysis.
• Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong computer skills using Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
• Strong knowledge of statistics.
• Must be analytical and creative.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be self-motivated and results-oriented with demonstrated ability to multitask under short time guidelines.
