DWC Pros Hiring for Medical Legal Editor Job at Remote Full Time

We are looking for a medical-legal editor, either part or full time, who has experience in writing medical-legal reports using the AMA Guides 5th Edition for QMEs and AMEs. Our doctors span a range of specialties from orthopedic to psyche to internal medicine. While the ideal candidate would have experience in all specialties, we are open to editors with experience only in specific specialties.

Responsibilities:

• Using the doctor’s notes from an examination, craft a medical legal report that takes into account the patient’s history, the medical records, and the doctor’s findings.
• Ensure that all reports are in accordance with the AMA Guides 5th edition. This position will require extensive knowledge of impairment ratings, apportionment, etc., per the Guides.
• Prepare reports in a timely manner, being conscious of strict medical-legal report deadlines.
• Write clearly and concisely

Of note, this position will not be held to a set schedule, and candidates must be able to juggle multiple reports at once in order to meet strict deadlines.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $50.00 – $75.00 per hour
