Seeking Sales Professionals. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for generating profitable business from the vast array of batteries, best in class ancillary DC power equipment and proprietary equipment bundles. It requires learning the product, developing relationships, implementing sales plans and striving to grow business. You will be responsible for presenting product solutions, writing quotes and submitting orders. Provide service to our customers and coordinate with operations and sales management.

This position requires experience in UPS, Telecom, Utilities OR standby power systems. Also, excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships.

Core Functions:

• Prepare product solutions options, build customer relationships, offer value-added services and answer questions as necessary.
• Service existing clients to ensure their needs are met with impeccable customer service.
• Focus on relationship development for sustainable, long term growth.
• Maximize opportunities by matching technical and operational skills to the needs.
• Optimize sales revenue by cross-selling and up-selling to current customer needs.
• Provide training to our customers to maximize our value in the relationship.
• Compile lists of leads from past sales, referrals, trade shows, activities and resources.
• Call on existing customers in a three to five-week cycle or as needed.
• Interface and work as a team with multiple departments within our organization.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of sales activities.
• Create and prepare sales plans, sales reports, expense, and weekly reports.
• Ability to operate a vehicle and willingness to travel as needed to secure opportunities.

Job Requirements:

• 2+ years of technical sales experience, preferably in a similar industry.
• Minimum of an associate degree or equivalent life experience.
• A desire to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Experience and knowledge of selling – prospecting and closing sales.
• Sales-minded, open to making contacts in person, over the phone and networking.
• Organized, with attention to detail and the ability to operate independently.
• Self-motivated, results oriented with ability to multi-task.
• Excellent communication and customer relations skills
• Above average abilities with Microsoft Office, Outlook, CRM Systems

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $36,000.00 – $250,000.00 per year
