Process and review bi – weekly payroll to ensure accuracy. Adjust and / or reconcile any errors.
Review and process quarterly, annual and referral bonuses
Answering inquiries on benefits and payroll from employees
Enter new hires and terminations into the ADP Workforce Now system and update all employee information for changes
Input and adjust data in ADP, updating personnel records including rate of pay, title changes, adding and removing pay deductions
Customize and process ADP reports
Verify all overtime and premium pay is correct on employee timecards with appropriate management approval
Maintain all benefit platforms and ensure employee changes are accurately reported
Assist with all leave administration, not limited to Short Term and Long-Term Disability, Workers Comp, Maternity and Military Leave
Review and approve monthly benefit invoices
Directs preparation of government reports, unemployment claims and assists HR Manager with 5500 audit and EEOC filings
Produce HR reports for HR Management as need from HR platforms
Audit GPS in comparison to timecards on a bi-weekly basis
Ensure carrier connection feeds are processing timely and accurately each month and during open enrollment
Run and upload 401k reports from payroll system to Fidelity bi – weekly or as needed
Process 3rd Party Sick Pay via payroll to ensure accurate reporting
Coordinate and manage employee training relating to payroll and time off procedures
Additional administrative duties to support human resources correspondence, documentation, and compliance efforts.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
College degree preferred
2 years direct experience in HR administration
Prior experience working in ADP WorkforceNow preferred
Adept at problem – solving, able to identify issues, resolve problems in a timely manner and make effective decisions
General familiarity with state and federal labor and employment law with requirements to equal employment opportunity, wage & hour and disability leave management
Proficient with Microsoft Office, with advance Excel Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to identify gaps and drive operations improvements
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information and maintain confidentiality with a strong sense of integrity and ethics.
Ability to prioritize tasks and operate in a fast – paced environment
Strong attention to detail
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities
Available outside of normal working hours as needed for business necessity
Ability to lift 15 pounds as needed
