EarthRoamer is looking for a self-motivated, skilled, hardworking Production Electrician to join our Production Team on the Ford based EarthRoamer. Ideal applicants will have experience or training in 12 and 24 VDC/automotive electrical, and a basic knowledge of 110 VAC electrical.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Install and test various electrical appliances including heating and cooling controls, electrical breaker panels, system monitors, and audio/visual equipment.
• Design and build circuits to accomplish specific tasks.
• Install electrical outlets, switches, televisions and other components in a clean and serviceable manner.
• Troubleshoot and repair/replace faulty equipment and electrical connections.
• Read and follow installation instructions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills

• Experience or training in 12 VDC/automotive electrical is required.
• Basic knowledge of 110 VAC electrical is recommended.
• Knowledge and experience in mechanical and electrical systems.
• Experience in power tool operation (drills, grinders, reciprocating saws, etc.)
• Must possess mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to learn quickly.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Willingness to learn and complete tasks correctly.
• Must have pride in work completed.
• Work well individually and as a member of a team.

Job Qualifications

• Clean criminal background.
• Current driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Basic mechanic’s tool set.
• Complete reports on jobs performed including detailed labor and parts use.
• Test systems in vehicle and verify proper operation.
• Work 40-50 hours a week.
• Maintain a flexible work schedule.
• Must provide job references.

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical school training desired
