East Bay German International School Hiring for English Language Arts Teacher Job at Emeryville, CA Full Time

The East Bay German International School (EBGIS) is a dual-language immersion school offering Preschool through high school programs. We combine German and English instruction with project-based learning and individualized attention to each student. We are looking for a dedicated and reliable English Language Arts teacher for our middle and high school programs (grades 5 and up). The position is full time (26 teaching hours per week). We are offering on-campus instruction under proven health and safety protocols. We are a candidate school for the IB Diploma Programme. Completed IB DP training is a plus; willingness to complete IB DP training is required.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum Bachelor of Arts and ideally a higher-level degree in education
• Two years or more of English Language Arts teaching and classroom experience in elementary school settings
• Experience with differentiated teaching
• Experience in international school setting
• Experience with or openness to interdisciplinary project-based work
• Experience with IB Diploma Program a plus
