Automotive HR Payroll Assistant
We are an Automotive Group looking for HR Payroll Assistant to join our Team in a professional automotive office environment located in Freeport, NY.
The candidate should have the following experience:
Prefer 3 years of payroll experience. ADP Workforce now experience. Must have experience with unions, union benefits, manage workers comp claims, disability claims.
We are looking for a candidate that can handle payrolls for two dealerships averaging around 150 employees. This will include gathering and reviewing time cards, keeping track of time off, reviewing payrolls with management on a weekly basis, previewing payroll for accuracy and processing payrolls.
HR duties will include screening new hires and onboarding once hired. Maintain confidentiality. Typing up pay plans. Keeping files on all new hires.
The ideal candidates should be experienced, mature, organized, detail oriented, able to multitask and have excellent Excel, Word, and email/writing skills.
Some travel will be required to travel to different dealerships.
The right choice for this position will be someone that is career minded, enjoys being challenged on a daily basis and is passionate about payroll.
This position is Full Time Monday through Friday. It will require working longer days at the beginning of the week and shorter days at the end of the week so some flexibility is needed.
