Job Description:
Primary responsibilities are to serve as an initial point of contact for all HR related issues.
– Manage employee relations issues and work with managers on performance and correct action documentation
– Coordinate all compensation related analysis and communications
– Manage talent review process, including goal setting, midyear checkpoint discussions, talent assessments, succession planning and development planning.
-Create productive relationships with managers and employees.
-Assist managers and employees with their questions related to the Company’s leave policy and short-term disability program. Research cases as necessary to bring to resolution.
-Work with managers and employees to handle accommodation requests.
-Assist in completing monthly and quarterly reporting for various HR and business stakeholders
-Attend meetings as employee management liaison to facilitate communication between parties
-Provide administrative and logistical assistance with relevant HR activities.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:
-Demonstrated strong knowledge of employment laws.
-Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills with demonstrated patience, tact and respect
-Ability to resolve conflicts and diffuse employee related issues, concerns, situations
-Must have outstanding organizational skills
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
-Exceptional detail and follow-up skills
-Maintains an objective point of view and remains calm in complex situations
-Ability to quickly evaluate alternatives and decide on a plan of action
-Strong influencing skills -Ability to manage multiple projects
-Financial Services corporate experience preferred
-Limited travel may be required
